Textia is the shared home for projects that publish manuscript images, transcriptions, reference maps, and related evidence for different textual traditions. Use the Corpus navigator in the site header to choose a project and its reference, or select a project below to read about its scope.

Scope

The projects document their sources and coverage separately. The common interface supplies navigation and reading controls; each project remains responsible for its corpus and evidence.

Image analysis and HTR

Some projects use image analysis and handwritten text recognition (HTR) to locate text or describe pages. A recognition result is evidence for review; it is not automatically treated as a diplomatic transcription.
